Caring for PEARLS means NO CHEMICALS, soaps, oils, hairspray, perfume or sanitizer please. Their luster is precious and you don’t want to erode it before you get to enjoy it. 
USE ONLY soft clean cloth to polish. 
Sterling Wire and Clasp can be carefully rubbed with appropriate polishing cloth. I suggest the Sunshine brand.
